Marisa Milroy

Marisa Milroy is a film and television writer, producer, and actress from Edmonton, Alberta. Marisa is based between Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto, Canada.

Marisa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from The New York Film Academy. Her screenplays explore the tenacity of complex characters in unconventional worlds. She specializes in both Feature and Television screenplays centered upon LGBTQIA+ and mental health driven concepts. 

Her most recent feature film, The Secret Art of Human Flight, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. Marisa is currently in development on two feature films, both of which were penned by her.

Marisa has also studied at the prestigious acting establishments, Playhouse West of Los Angeles and Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City.
